Financial assistance to hospitals and medical facility of Ukraine
Every day, doctors throughout the country tirelessly save the lives of Ukrainians: both military personnel and civilians, adults, and children. To support healthcare workers, PrivatBank and its customers actively collect donations in cooperation with the Ministry of Health of Ukraine. All 100% of donations are allocated towards the purchase of critically important medical equipment, medications, and consumables.

Help for neurosurgical departments of frontline hospitals
With the expert support of the Ukrainian Association of Neurosurgeons, a project to strengthen the neurosurgical departments of Ukrainian hospitals was implemented for a total amount of UAH 29 mln, 14 of which were provided by the PrivatBank.
Thanks to generous donations from the PrivatBank customers to the programme ‘Emergency donation. Helping medical institutions and hospitals in Ukraine’, managed to provide critical medical equipment to more neurosurgical units than planned.

Contributions from PrivatBank customers allowed us to respond to an emergency request from doctors and help one of the Poltava hospitals after the shelling in September 2024.

The range of equipment varied individually for each department. The main request was to equip operating theatres. Now, each neurosurgical department that has received assistance has a reliable skull fixation system and high-quality sterilisers with a fast sterilisation cycle. The project has improved the quality and reduced the time of emergency neurosurgical care, which is invaluable for preserving the quality of life of the wounded”
