The power of small donations saves patients in Ukrainian hospitals

This is one of dozens of cases that Lesya Yevhenivna Strielka, head of the burn unit, combustiologist at Kyiv City Children's Hospital No. 1, can talk about for hours. "Thanks to the electrosurgical apparatus provided by PrivatBank, we can simultaneously perform reconstructive surgical interventions on two areas at once and with minimal trauma to the surrounding tissues. For patients like Nazarchyk, this is a significant acceleration of postoperative recovery and a reduction in the total number of reconstructive surgeries."

In total, in the first half of 2026, PrivatBank provided assistance to 29 key hospitals in various regions of Ukraine for a total amount of almost 80.5 million hryvnias, of which 73 million is PrivatBank's contribution. The hospitals received almost 200 units of critically important medical equipment, consumables, and medical furniture. This includes surgical, resuscitation, diagnostic, laboratory, and rehabilitation equipment, as well as inclusive medical furniture designed for people with disabilities.
