Charity that Unites: PrivatBank Published its Report for 2025

2025 became a year of powerful joint results for strengthening the country's resilience: over UAH 367.5 million was raised in 16 partner charity projects of PrivatBank with leading foundations to help the Armed Forces of Ukraine, medical institutions, social initiatives, and people affected by the war. Of this amount, UAH 76 million was a direct contribution from PrivatBank, with the vast majority being client donations.

This is just one part of the bank's charity report. In total, in 2025, PrivatBank directed UAH 246.2 million to charity, of which UAH 81.6 million was direct financial aid to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

A separate section of the report demonstrates the scale of PrivatBank's charitable ecosystem – the tools and services used by Ukrainians to support important initiatives. Throughout the year, 2.6 million clients made charitable transfers through the bank's channels, and the total volume of such payments exceeded UAH 3.5 billion.

Charity is a systematic effort that combines the trust of philanthropists, the professional work of charitable organizations, and the technological infrastructure of the bank. PrivatBank ensures secure payments, transparency of fundraising, and convenient tools for foundations and donors, and also shares its expertise, helping partners develop effective and accountable charitable projects. Openness and regular reporting on the use of funds are an important part of this work and the foundation of trust in charity.

“For PrivatBank, charity is part of responsible business. We are creating a transparent and secure system where clients can easily support important initiatives and be confident that their funds are used for their intended purpose. At the same time, the bank systematically directs part of its resources to help the country – from the results of its operating activities after paying taxes and dividends to the state. We are convinced that for big business today, this is a natural and necessary component of our work,” said Mikael Bjorknert, Chairman of the Management Board of PrivatBank.

In total, during the period of the full-scale war, the total value of the bank's assistance is UAH 1.9 billion. Of this amount, UAH 937 million is financial aid for strengthening defense capabilities, developing medical infrastructure, supporting communities, and humanitarian needs. Another UAH 937 million is material aid from the bank.
