Modern surgical system for Kirovohrad Regional Hospital
PrivatBank's Charitable Foundation "Dopomahaty prosto!" ("It's Easy to Help!") financed the purchase and donated a cutting-edge electrosurgical system BOWA ARC 400, valued at over 2 million hryvnias, to the KNP "Kirovohrad Regional Hospital." The appearance of an apparatus of this class in Kirovohrad region's medical facilities became a landmark event for the region. The BOWA ARC 400 system is an intelligent surgical assistant that automatically recognizes tissue types and instantly adjusts power during incisions or bleeding cessation. This allows for operations to be performed with jewelry-like precision, minimizes blood loss, and significantly speeds up patient recovery.
"This is the first apparatus of this class in the region overall," said Larysa Andreeva, General Director of the Kirovohrad Regional Hospital Communal Non-Profit Enterprise. "From now on, our doctors will be able to perform operations that previously seemed impossible or overly complex to conduct at the local level. We are sincerely grateful to PrivatBank and its charitable foundation for the new opportunities opened up for us."
The equipment is indispensable in neurosurgery, cardiology, and complex oncology—areas where every millimeter is crucial. This aid was made possible thanks to millions of PrivatBank clients, whose small but regular contributions through the bank's charitable programs are converted into high technologies for Ukrainian medicine.
"PrivatBank is more than just finance. It is the power of a community capable of saving lives," says Olesia Zhulynska, Head of Public Relations and Communications at PrivatBank. "We are proud of our team and our clients, as the investment of over UAH 2 million in this 'spaceship' of medicine is our joint response to the challenges of the time and proof of the enduring value of humanity."
PrivatBank and the "It's Easy to Help!" foundation continue to systematically provide the country's hospitals with equipment that will work for years and save thousands of lives. Just last year, modern medical equipment totaling UAH 63.4 million was purchased for 33 hospitals in Ukraine.
