PrivatBank & Clients Donate Over UAH 8 M to Sumy Medical Facilities

Sumy region is daily under shelling, affecting both military and civilian populations. In these extremely difficult conditions, our medics fight for the lives of Ukrainians every day.

PrivatBank took a comprehensive approach to aid and provided for the urgent needs of 5 hospitals in the city of Sumy, including adult and children's institutions, as well as an oncology centre.

Within its own charitable program "Urgent Donation: Aid to Hospitals and Medical Institutions in Ukraine" and thanks to regular client donations, which the bank doubled, this time it was possible to deliver 11 units of surgical equipment and over 50 units of instruments and consumables for a total amount of UAH 8,148,280.

In particular, among other materials, essential equipment such as an operating table, powerful energy systems (currently relevant), and a low-temperature plasma sterilizer were supplied. This equipment will improve and significantly accelerate the work of surgical departments and the process of providing emergency medical care.

Such assistance increases the quality and speed of medical care throughout the region. These comprehensive and costly solutions are a necessary basis for building a new level of medical services. Thus, together with the bank's clients, real assistance was provided to the Sumy region.
