PrivatBank & Firefighters Raise UAH 2.5M for SES Armoured Vehicle

PrivatBank has supported a charitable initiative by doubling the first million hryvnias within the framework of a joint fundraising effort with the "Ukrainian Firefighters Charity Foundation" to purchase an armoured evacuation vehicle for the needs of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SES).

Combining this bank contribution with donations from hundreds of caring Ukrainians, the joint initiative has already accumulated nearly 2.5 million hryvnias.

"This initiative is a clear example of how uniting the efforts of the bank and tens of thousands of Ukrainians allows us to do extremely important things. We are very happy to support our partners – the 'Ukrainian Firefighters' – and double the contribution to the purchase of a vital armoured vehicle for the SES. Every joint step brings us closer to victory and saving lives," commented Olesya Zhulynska, Head of Public Relations and Communications at PrivatBank.

The goal of the fundraising is to purchase an armoured evacuation vehicle, which is vital for rescuers who daily:

• evacuate people from frontline areas;
• deliver humanitarian aid;
• respond to calls in high-risk zones.

Every such vehicle is a real chance to save a life.
