PrivatBank and AZOV.ONE raised UAH 15 million to support the medical service of Azov
Thanks to the contributions of PrivatBank clients and AZOV.ONE donors, UAH 15,000,000 has already been raised within the framework of a joint fundraising effort to increase the effectiveness of the Azov Brigade's medical service and accompanying service. PrivatBank added UAH 1,000,000 of its own funds to this collection.
The campaign "Evacuation. Rehabilitation. Return to Service" aims to raise UAH 30,000,000 to improve the effectiveness of the medical service and accompanying service of "Azov" and accelerate the recovery process of wounded soldiers at all stages — from evacuation to rehabilitation. The raised funds are directed to three key areas:
- Evacuation (medical service) — purchasing robotic platforms, armored vehicles, and equipping intensive care ambulances for the safe transportation of the wounded;
- Stabilization (medical service) — providing stabilization points with medical equipment, diagnostic and dental equipment;
- Rehabilitation (Azov.Accompanying) — funding services not covered by the state to speed up the return of military personnel to service.
"The task of medics in war is not only to save lives but also to do the maximum to preserve the soldier's health after injury. Everything influences this — the quality of evacuation, equipment, the ability to provide help quickly. That is why fundraising for medical equipment has real significance: every unit purchased is part of a system that works to ensure the wounded has a chance not just to survive, but to recover," said Daryna "Rina" Smolnikova, head of the accompanying service of the 12th Special Purpose Brigade "Azov" of the National Guard of Ukraine.
Since the start of the fundraising on February 24, 2025, over 1,000 "Azov" fighters have passed through the medical service and accompanying service. Each of them received medical care and expert support during treatment — thanks in particular to this initiative by PrivatBank and AZOV.ONE.
"We are proud to be able to provide a safe platform for charity to our partners, and a convenient way for our clients to join in supporting the defense forces. Every hryvnia in this collection is a chance for life and the return of heroes to service," said Olesia Zhulynska, head of public relations and communications at PrivatBank.
Half of the way to the goal is still ahead — the fundraising continues, and every contribution brings closer the moment when the medical service and accompanying service of "Azov" will be able to help an even greater number of fighters.
