PrivatBank allocates 2.5 million UAH for the restoration of the Kyiv Institute of Cardiology
PrivatBank is allocating 2.5 million UAH for the restoration of damaged medical equipment at the Acad. M.D. Strazhesko Institute of Cardiology in Kyiv, which suffered destruction as a result of a missile attack by Russian forces on Sunday, September 28, 2025.
The support from PrivatBank and its charitable foundation "Dopomahaty prosto" (It's Easy to Help) is aimed at the speedy restoration of the Institute's work, so it can continue its important mission—to save the lives of thousands of Ukrainians every day.
"For our bank, supporting hospitals and medical facilities during the war is a social priority; we were in touch with the Institute from the first hours after the tragedy to find out how we could help," says Mikael Backman, Chairman of the Board of PrivatBank. "Unfortunately, there are human losses as a result of the strike, and we all share the pain of the families and the collective of the legendary institute."
PrivatBank invites all clients and all Ukrainians to join the support through the charitable program "Urgent Donation: Aid to Hospitals and Medical Institutions of Ukraine." Every hryvnia is a contribution to a future where doctors have the opportunity to work and patients have a chance to recover.
Within the framework of the "Urgent Donation" program, more than 50 medical institutions across Ukraine have already received aid totaling 147 million UAH.
