Let’s make summer together!

Children shall have the right for a happy summer: a new charity project called “Let’s make summer together!” has started; the project  intended for children with hearing impairments and those which belong to other vulnerable groups. Charity fund “Vidchui” and PrivatBank have announced the start of fundraising for an inclusive camp so that the children with hearing impairments and those who have suffered the war traumas would be able to enjoy summer, and, moreover, would be able to get more integrated into the society. Thus, the integration of the society will be strengthened by these young people.

Children who experience war face many challenges that may affect their physical and mental health. The arrangement of recreation and leisure for children during the wartime is a difficult task, but the organization of inclusive camps appears to be a special challenge.

The inclusive summer camp has been created to overcome the communication barrier and socialize children with hearing impairments and those who have been otherwise traumatized in this war. The participants of the planned camp will include children who were successfully returned from deportation and those who lost their parents in the war. As the fund has a many-year experience, the camp will be a secure place and an inclusive environment for children, where they will be able not just rest from day-to-day worries, but also develop their talents, skills and create a positive vibe around.
UAH 5 mln are needed for organizing two camp shifts. It’s expected that organizers will raise these funds from donations. You can easily join the fundraising and help make this summer unforgettable for all children, regardless of their life circumstances, via all PrivatBank services:
