The equipment has been purchased for the Kherson Regional Hospital

The equipment has been purchased for the Kherson Regional Hospital thanks to the customers of PrivatBank. 

The medical equipment, which was successfully purchased for over UAH 2.3 million, has already been put into operation and is saving the lives of residents in Kherson.

In addition to the constant shelling and electricity disruptions in Kherson caused by the catastrophe at the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant, there was also a problem with water supply and stable water pressure, which paralyzed the work of hospitals, especially surgical departments, and significantly increased the number of affected individuals. That is why the PrivatBank Charitable Foundation came to the aid of Kherson within the framework of the “Financial Assistance to Hospitals and Medical Institutions of Ukraine” program. Among the equipment already in use is the unique Sonoca 185 device, which accelerates wound healing several times, as well as expert-class sterilization equipment.

I am proud that our Kherson hospital now utilizes advanced technology, considered the “gold standard” in providing care to patients with burns,” says Serhii Volchenko, Head of the Burn Department at the Kherson Regional Clinical Hospital.

The “Financial Assistance to Hospitals and Medical Institutions of Ukraine” program was launched in June last year, and Ukrainians have already donated over UAH 70 million for medical equipment, medications, and expendable materials for Ukrainian hospitals in different regions of Ukraine.
