Equipment worth UAH 4.1 million - for the treatment of rocket fire victims in Uman

This is possible thanks to donations of PrivatBank customers to the charity program "Financial Assistance to Hospitals and Medical Institutions of Ukraine", which is implemented by the Bank's charity foundation "Helping is Easy!". The request for the purchase of emergency items of medical equipment was worked out together with the Ministry of Health and local authorities.

In particular, MNE Cherkasy Regional Hospital, which took over the provision of emergency assistance to victims in Uman, received a skull fixation system, two lung ventilators of expert class with capnographs and two medical intensive care gurneys. This equipment will speed up the recovery of patients who were injured as a result of a Russian missile hitting a residential high-rise building in Uman.

The "Financial Assistance to Hospitals and Medical Institutions of Ukraine" program was launched in June 2022, and Ukrainians have already donated almost UAH 65.5 million for medical equipment, medicines, and consumables for Ukrainian hospitals in various regions of Ukraine.

Vitaliy Shylo – a director of the MNE Cherkasy Regional Hospital said: "We are grateful to everyone who donated to the PrivatBank Charitable Foundation for providing modern equipment. We immediately put the equipment into operation, equipping the department of emergency medical care, intensive care and cerebrovascular pathology. Today, it is more important than ever to improve the quality of medical care and the hospital will continue to make maximum efforts to modernize medical services".
