Medical equipment for Zaporizhzhian hospitals for 5.5 million

3 expert class ventilators, 4 surgical aspirators and 1 defibrillator received Emergency Ambulance City Hospital in Zaporizhzhya. The total amount of purchase is 5,587,000 hryvnias. The equipment was purchased with the funds raised within the charity program of PrivatBank charity foundation “Aid to Hospitals and Medical Institutions of Ukraine”.

It’s already been the second delivery of medical equipment to the region for the last 2 months: a month ago 3 medical institutions in Zaporizhzhya received their aid, and after recent massive shelling of the city, the charity foundation along with the Ministry of Health and the local government authorities have been focused on helping the Emergency and Ambulance City Hospital to reinforce the medical facility with vital resuscitation and surgical equipment. Due to the new equipment, the doctors are already able to provide patients with quality medical care.

“On behalf of the local government and Zaporizhians I sincerely thank the benefactors and the Bank. – says Anatoly Kurtev,  the City Council secretary. – This equipment is crucial and vital for city residents and it really saves many lives. The ventilator, which was delivered to the City Maternity Hospital a month ago, saved the life of a little Zaporizhzhyan. The baby was born premature, at the 30th week, for 8 days he breathed with the help of the ventilator, and only then he was transferred to his mother’s ward. We thank all the benefactors! Each hryvnia saves someone’s life or health and gives the medical personnel a chance to do their work efficiently”.

Andrii Drach, the head of PrivatBank South-Eastern MRD adds:

“We help where it is really needed. Kurakhovo, Kramatorsk and Dnipro have recently got a range of medical equipment, and now we are finishing another delivery to Zaporizhzhya. The total amount for the purchased equipment is over 11 million hryvnias, this is for two deliveries to Zaporizhzhya. And all this is thanks to caring Ukrainians who join the charity via PrivatBank services”.
