PrivatBank charity foundation received UAH 3.6 mn from Japanese government

In 2023 the Japanese government is providing its grant aid to Ukraine within “Kusanone”, Human Security Program. PrivatBank charity foundation “Helping Is Easy” was set as one of the Program operators. The amount of granted funds is USD 98,805 or over UAH 3.6 mn. Under the grant agreement, signed on March 16 between the Embassy of Japan in Ukraine and the Charity foundation “Helping Is Easy!”, PrivatBank charity foundation will purchase rehabilitation equipment and a power generator for the City Hospital No. 7 in Kamianske, Dnipro region.

“As there are a lot of wounded people during the war and those who became the  victims of Coronavirus infections, high-quality medical equipment is demanded as never before”, - said Matsuda Kuninori, the Ambassador of Japan in Ukraine in the course of the agreement signing ceremony. He assured that in the future, the Japanese government will continue to provide support to Ukraine, in particular, will provide grant aid both, within the “Kusanone” Program and under the auspices of other programs and initiatives.

“We are grateful to the people of Japan as they’ve been constantly supporting Ukraine, and we are grateful to the government and Embassy of Japan for their trust in implementing the large-scale charitable projects. This year such aid is especially appreciated and necessary. On our part, we always fulfill our commitments, keep our promises and transparently report on the execution and completion of all the projects”, said Kateryna Martynenko, the head of the Charity Organization “All-Ukrainian Charity Foundation “Helping Is Easy!””

This’s already been the sixth project implemented by the PrivatBank Charity Foundation within the “Kusanone” Program. And as all the previous projects, it is aimed at the improvement of medical services in Ukraine. Due to the fruitful cooperation, since 2018 we have been able to purchase numerous units of diagnostic, resuscitation and therapeutic equipment for hospitals in Kherson, Chernihiv, Lviv and Kyiv regions. And now comes Dnipro.
