PrivatBank customers donated over UAH 1 bln to the projects of “Comeback Alive” foundation

The funds donated by the Bank customers were used for providing Ukrainian militaries with means of communication, devices for reconnaissance and surveillance.

For “Comeback Alive” a billion hryvnias donated by PrivatBank customers is one sixth part of all the donations made within 2022. Since 22 April, 2022, when the account of the foundation was added to “Dobro” section in Privat24 app, to the self-service terminals, cash desks at the Bank branches and on the web-site https://blago.privatbank.ua/, more than 322 mn of these funds were transferred for the support of our Defense Forces. Another part of the funds was transferred via other Bank services or directly from customers from PrivatBank to the accounts of the foundation.

«Last year we reached this really incredible result because people trust us as an institution and trust PrivatBank which made the process of donation really simple for every Ukrainian. Each received hryvnia is converted into power which we can feel every day on the battlefield, used by hundreds of military units of the Defense Forces that received walkie-talkies, means of communication, power supplies, mining equipment and quadcopters. The greatest merit, of course, here goes to every person who, with their donations, made it possible. So, I thank everyone who stays with “Comeback Alive” and PrivatBank, and supports our army!», stated Oleh Karpenko, the head of the partnership and development department of “Comeback Alive” foundation.

As estimated by the specialists of the military department of “Comeback Alive”, those radio stations, purchased with the funds donated by PrivatBank customers, are enough to cover the basic needs or restore combat losses in gear in over 55 battalions of the Ukrainian army. Only the protective equipment purchased with PrivatBank customers funds can completely cover the needs of the entire battalion.
