Hospitals in Donetsk region received medical equipment for UAH 17 mn donated by PrivatBank customers

At the beginning of 2023, thanks to the efforts of PrivatBank customers and charity funds such as “Helping Is Easy!” and “Volunteering and Protection Center”, supported by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, five medical institutions in Donetsk region received vital medical equipment and medicines for over UAH 17 mn.

Thanks to the funds which the Bank customers donate to the charity program “Aid to Hospitals and Medical Institutions”, launched by PrivatBank charity foundation, reference hospitals in Kramatorsk and Kurakhovo received resuscitation, surgical and diagnostic equipment, vital medicines and consumables. All those are intended to aid wounded and ill local residents and people from the surrounding areas who are seeking help.

Doctors cannot help from hiding their positive feelings, because even before the war they only dreamed about having some of the equipment which they received. Andrii Opryshko, the CEO of one of Kramatorsk reference hospitals, said: “These days there are a lot of “neglected” patients, because, unfortunately, people who still live here, in the frontline, are unable to receive appropriate medical care”.  The purchased medicines will be enough for several months, and new purchased equipment will serve for many long years.
